Extremely frustrated
by Geecasey

Like so many others, I wish Zite was still here. I've yet to delete the app from my phone, kind of like when you keep that picture of a loved who passed away. Whenever you look at that picture, you think of all the good times the two of you had. Zite was such a great app that got me and everyone else who used it. All of the great content was right there on one page and if you wanted additional content you could visit a particular category. Now, with Flipboard, you flip and flip and flip, hoping to find a relevant article. In the meantime, your data plan is being eaten up, you see a bunch of ads, when you do find an article worth reading, the app crashes. Though I used Flipboard in the past, it did not have the same quality as Zite. Now that I have to rely primarily on Zite I find myself not reading as much and this is not good. RIP Zite, you may be gone old friend, but not forgotten.

Simply the Best Reader

When I wake up, before even getting out of bed, one of the first things I do is open Flipboard to read my news. For those of us who consume news like most people consume air, this is the perfect app. And just like those oxygen-gobblers who end up exhaling out of necessity, info-maniacs also release information out of necessity, in the form of topical magazines and social media shares, which Flipboard makes so very, very easy.

There are only two things I wish Flipboard had, and those are font selection/sizing and a night-mode.

Finally, I have to address ads. Yes, this app is ad supported. But despite the fact that these ads are literally full page ads, they're about as intrusive as a full-page spread in a magazine, with much less frequency. Frankly, like with magazine ads, I actually LIKE looking at the ads in this app.

Seriously, great work. Bravo. And if you want to read/flip from your computer, you can do so on their site. Like the app is a mainstay in my morning routine, the page is a perpetually open tab while I'm online.

Easy and Awesome

I love, love, love this app. Flipping through is super user friendly. As I "do my homework" for launching a small business, I can file articles away in my custom "magazines"for study when I get to the next stage of development. It's a great learning tool and I find lots to inspire. This is perfect for entrepreneurs, students, or anyone who likes to read.
A couple of suggestions, partner with some productivity apps - note taking, mind map, to do list, journal entries. It would be great to share these easily. Would be super cool if I could highlight/ tag / bookmark info in the articles. Thanks to your team for creating one of my favorite apps! Keep being Awesome!
